Webinar On Treating Dissociative Cognitive Errors

Treating Dissociative Cognitive Errors: The Binders that Hold Dissociation in its Dysfunctional Homeostasis

Presented by Kathleen Martin, LCSW

Dissociative cognitive errors are unconsciously developed to help the person stay away from what was/is overwhelming. Clinicians hear dissociative cognitive errors in clients with complex trauma repeatedly such as the dissociative cognitive error of separateness: non-personification. These errors hijack attempts to process the unhealed events. Treating this dissociative process is an art. This 2 hour webinar will examine dissociative cognitive errors and show how to treat them.
